The Panther Carbine combines classic features from the past with modern rifle advantages. The most noticeable feature is the barrel. The barrel is a 11.5", chrome-lined heavy barrel, with a 5.5" flash hider permanently attached to create the look of the original carbine used by US troops for years, while still having a legal 16" for civilian use. An A2 upper receiver and sights and modern 6 position collapsing stock add a bit more utility and comfort than the older design. Great for law enforcement, plinking, or a little taste of nostalgia.
